MENOPAUSE – Every Woman's Greatest Enemy
Every woman undergoes a stage of physiological changes during menopause.
When a woman reaches the age of about 45 to 50, many psychological and physiological changes take place due to functional degeneration of physiological system, reduction of internal estrogen, degeneration of ovarian system. Signs of discomfort, which are known as 'menopause syndrome',occur.
The common signs of 'menopause syndrome' include hot flush, night sweat and menstrual imbalance. One can also become overly suspicious, nervous, anxious and suffer from poor memory and insomnia. There will also be signs of skin aging, weight gain, lost of confidence etc.
The type and degree of the symptoms vary among women, and the more serious symptoms that evolve in later stages can cause health problems. |
